is not a contraception site, though I do believe poetry and sex go hand in hand.

M is not a music site, though I have a bias toward poetry that alludes to music in all its varieties, and I am in thrall to the beat almighty. R

M is a site that's not religious in the institutionalized sense of the word. However, I love poetry that's transcendent, my tastes in poetry are catholic and freewheeling, and St. Augustine's cui servire regnare est (whom to serve is to reign) is the best articulation I know of to describe R

M is a one-man band at the moment (Mary Kathryn Arnold is the editor and designer), but I hope that might change. I'm looking for poetry that's intelligent, visceral, honest and original, poetry that reflects the world we live in today and is attentive to beauty, wherever you may find it. So if you have a rhythmic bone in your body (when it comes to poetry), try me!
